Culture Studies We have talked about what influences culture (group size, geography, climate, available resources) and how cultures express themselves in different ways (language, art, religion, food, clothing, rituals, technology, beliefs and rules). We will spend the year learning about the cultures of Appalachia, Africa, Asia, and Scandinavia.

The carolers were wonderful!! The patients and workers at Health South were so appreciative of the beautiful young voices that they heard. We even got the children off the bus for an encore performance that was requested by a patient who heard them through his closed door. What a wonderful gift your children gave so joyously!!

Our K9 Visit!!
Our class read Ellie's Story, which is a book about a K9 dog. Lidie Dann's uncle, Master Corporal Lenny Aguilar from the the Delaware State Police, along with two fellow K9 officers, brought their three K9's for a visit. It was an exciting day for the third grade.
